We were there for New Year's Eve and it was so convenient to everything.. restaurants, grocery store, the Market. We walked everywhere and when we did not want to walk back we took the bicycle taxi home. Loved the off street parking! Can't wait to come back!

E-mail: creakylogfarm@sbcglobal.net 		Awesome place. Privacy, off-street parking. Location is North of the main action but if you are driving it is not a big deal. Also, there are free trolleys (buses) which run all over the city stopping a block or two away. Just like having your own apartment in Charleston. Thad; thanks for everything. Would highly recommend to friends and hope to return.

Thad at Joseph Aiken once again took specatacular care of us and I am beginning to feel it's my second home away from home.
We love our cozy getaway and enjoy our full service apartment and the quiet time there.
We are already planning our next trip...better start our diet now...

I had to work, and our lovely apt was the perfect place to set up all my electronics. Thad gave us great advice on restaurants and activities--and we fell in love with this magical city. Although we consider ourselves New Englanders at heart, we hope this Southern Belle will welcome us when we return this fall as Charleston homeowners. Never our intention before we visited, but amazing what a month can do. See you soon, Thad!

SO nice suites with everything you need – and all kept in a very tasteful style – true to the original architecture. We stayed here with our 3-year-old daughter – and had no problems at all (well, she IS very well-behaved ). Thad was an amazing host – we enjoyed his help, professionalism and commitment. We don’t have anything bad top say about this place and would stay here again – and recommend it to all that enjoys tasteful luxury and the historic south & hospitality.

Boy did I luck out in finding such fantastic hosts at Joseph Aiken.
I loved my apartment type accommodations and could unpack, unwind and begin my adventure right away.
I ate, drank and toured my way through Charleston.
Thad was so wonderful to help me find out of the way places and send me to his favorite haunts.
I've been counting the days until I can return with my husband this time! Thanks so much!

 What a beautiful place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay at the Joseph Aiken Carriage house. It was very quiet and peaceful. We would definately stay again.
